Shipping & Delivery Policy

At CampusXchange, we believe in simplifying student-to-student transactions. Since our platform operates within campuses and local areas, we do not offer traditional shipping or courier services.

Instead, we empower face-to-face exchanges between verified campus users. Here’s how it works:


1. Local Meetup Delivery

All product handovers happen in person at a mutually agreed time and place. Once a buyer reserves a product, both buyer and seller can:

  • Coordinate directly through the order chat system

  • Propose delivery timings and locations

  • Confirm meetup completion for payment processing

CampusXchange is not a logistics provider and does not offer home delivery or shipping options.


2. Recommended Delivery Locations

To ensure safety and ease:

  • Meet in well-lit public campus areas (hostel lobbies, libraries, common areas)

  • Avoid isolated spots or late-night timings

  • Prefer daylight exchanges for safety and verification


3. Delivery Coordination Features

We provide tools for easy communication:

  • Buyer and Seller can edit the proposed delivery time and location

  • Both parties receive email notifications when details are updated

  • Admins can step in if coordination fails (only under special cases)

You can also view and update delivery details from your My Orders page.


4. Delivery Timeframe

There is no fixed shipping period, but we recommend:

  • Completing the meetup within 3 days of reservation

  • If either party is unresponsive for over 48 hours, the order may be canceled and refunds processed if applicable


5. Failed or Delayed Deliveries

CampusXchange is not liable for:

  • Missed meetups

  • Cancellations after confirmation

  • Items not matching description

  • Any damage, fraud, or theft during physical handover

Users must confirm product quality and condition before exchanging payment.


6. Tips for Smooth Delivery

  • Take a photo of the product beforehand

  • Confirm a time both parties agree on

  • Choose safe and known locations

  • Inspect item condition before handing over cash

  • Use in-app communication to keep records clear


7. CampusXchange’s Role

We are a facilitator. We:

  • Allow users to list, browse, reserve, and coordinate meetups

  • Provide tools for managing delivery coordination

  • Encourage honest transactions and responsible conduct

We do not guarantee delivery, nor do we mediate disputes over product exchanges or conditions.
